Cruisin' for a bruisin'

Took a break from studying for my final exams to play with some makeup. Monarch is such a gorgeous duochrome color! I received this as a GWP with a recent DG order.

 

My earrings were custom made by Calia, of Enchantd Looking Glass. I love these! I purchased three pairs from her, and have been wearing them daily.

I recieved my Heartsy order with Brazen Cosmetics today! It's been a while since I've had an order, so I was very excited to recieve this one. strut - hot pink/magenta with sparkle

 spectacle - bright canary yellow

don't stop - dark, shimmery taupe (my favorite of this bunch!)

prude - light lavender

scorching - hard to describe... I will use this as a highlight/accent shade, especially in my tearduct.

 

prowl - rustic sort of orange, perfect for fall

pharoah - combo between an olive green and gold

cali girl bronzer - light brown, shimmery bronze

alchemy passion pot  - wearable gold!

I love fall, and I'm excited to wear olives, oranges & golds. Don't stop! will go perfect with Prowl or Pharaoah, which have to be my favorites of this order. Alchemy I was originally on the fence on, because it seems so much darker in the listing. It is such a beautiful shade, and would be perfect over a nude lip.

Sahara FOTD

Happy long weekend everyone! Of course it just had to rain here, as if the flooding weren't bad enough. So I decided to cheer myself up with my new Brazen haul! I'm really loving my new lipgloss, Forbidden Fruit. It's quite opaque, and I love coral!

Spring time with Brazen

I'm always excited to get mail, but even more excited when I see the Brazen stamp!!! This was a fairly big haul for me this time around, and I was dying for it to arrive. As always my package arrived intact, neatly taped, and wrapped in colorful tissue paper.

I ordered 3 of the upcoming Spring scents in Thai One On, Summer Lovin' & La La Lychee.

Thai One On: smells of coconut and lemongrass. The scent reminds me of tanning lotion (the good stuff) with the lemongrass note. It's not too overpowering, and the notes REALLY compliment each other! Totally yum!

Summer Lovin': this one is a mixture of fruit, I get mostly mango, grapefruit and orange. It smells tart and sweet at the same time.

La La Lychee: I've never smelled lychee before this, but it smells really good! It's like a mix of tart fruit and underlying florals.

Super cool!!!

I ordered lipglosses in Bronzed Bombshell (darker and more golden than Au Natural), Forbidden Fruit (bright opaque cantelope/orang mix) and Muse and Make out for my Mom who kept stealing my glosses! Sandi graciously included samples of her new Gummie Glazes; these smell AND taste delicious! The differences in the glazes are the color of the sparkle. The gloss is a clear color with differeing colors of sparkle, depending on your 'flavor', i.e. Orange and Cherry.

And finally, the Sulty Sahara swatches! I was so excited when the sneak peaks for this collection were posted; the shades are all colors I could see myself wearing on a daily basis.

Aren't they all gorgeous?? I can't even pick a favorite. I can't wait to work with these colors, all of the shades appear as if they will all compliment eachother. I think this is a great collection to try from Brazen, especially if you love naturals (but with a twist!)

With my order, I also received a bunch of tickets. Initially I was quite confused, until I read the bright orange paper in my package.. Gettin' Cheeky with Brazen

Wow. This has been an extremely long and overall stressful week. Her's hoping the upcoming week will have something better in store for me.

I've been wearing the au natural lipgloss this entire week, and have hardly made a dent in the pot! The color is the perfect neutral for me. And I love the mint taste!

I haven't raved about Brazen Cosmetics for quite some time, eh? ;)

A order arrived today of some random deals I got in on (3 3g pots/$10), mystery grab bag deal, and a 20g pot of Hi-Def I needed as my little pot has been running low. As always, my packaged arrived neatly packed with tissue paper and love!

The entire order! I grabbed a 20g pot of Hi-Def, Perfumes in Girly Girl & Dreamy, 5g pot of Luxe, Oath, Frenzy blush, Cheeky, Blaze lipgloss, and the new Au Natural lipgloss. The Dreamy perfume smells like a fancy store brand, and has a very comforting scent.

As always, ingredients are fixed on the label of every pot!

Now for my rave about Blaze... The moment I opened my package I HAD to try it on! Isn't it just a hot color? It looks totally retro, a bright opaque red-orange. It can definitely be toned down, but I think it would look super sexy with winged eyeliner. I'm just bare faced here!

Brazen Cosmetics: My one true love

Yippie! My latest Brazen order finally arrived! It was packaged up in a tiny box with cute red tissue paper. I ordered lipglosses during the 3/$11 deal on facebook in Muse, Conflict, Heiress. I also picked up Make Out, sample packs of the Valentines Day eyeshadow collections (one of which is now part of Brazen's regular line because they were so popular!)

More goodies! Sandi included a solid perfume version of my favorite perfume from her, Coca cupcake! It smells delicious. I wear this on an almost daily basis, it's a very comforting and foody scent.

Eyeshadow samples! The sample sets come packed up seperately in their own little baggies with stickers!

As always, the ingredients are all listed on the products; even on sample baggies! Cocoa Loco is one of Brazen's lip scrubs, it smells like chocolate and is delicious! I'll admit to tasting some when scrubbing my lips earlier.

Sandi scent me a sample of her popcorn scent with my last order, so I asked to try some of her little soaps in the scent. It's a really strange scent, I mean, I first thought "Who want's to smell like popcorn?" It's quite interesting, there's a mixture of both sweet and salty with a buttery undernote...yumm. The tiny size works out well too, I can just use 1-2 with each shower. The other sample is of her Cinniamon bun scent, which of course, smells EXACTLY like fresh baked cinnamon buns!

Forest Pixie

Smokey green FOTD for today, I went out shopping with some girlfriends to celebrate our last exam! I am off for a week, so expect a lot of posts from me this upcoming week. I also want to mention that once I reach 100 fans I'll be hosting a giveaway! Now, I want to ask, what would you prefer for a giveaway? Just makeup, or a mixture of some makeup and handmade items?

Yet another neutral FOTD

My aunt is in town, and we are going out for supper tonight for greek food. This has been a very hard week; my aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer which metastasized to the liver in early August, right before I started school. We just found out over the weekend it has now spread to her brain. Tomorrow morning she has a gamma knife scheduled, and the rest of her chemotherapy and treatment is dependent on how what happens tomorrow. I wrote two exams this week, and have my last on Friday to write. I received an email earlier this week from an instructor saying a paper I wrote isn't legible to her, so I had to re-write it this afternoon. Not a good week at all. I am off next week and am hoping to relax and de-stress before beginning my second year of nursing.
